The guided meditations I’ve created for MOVE are a simple and easy form of meditation – all you have to do is press play and listen! You’ll hear my voice with soft and relaxing music in the background taking you on a journey towards the destination you’ve picked (the topic of your chosen guided meditation).
Each meditation starts with what I call the “induction phase” – getting you very relaxed and prepared to receive encouragement and suggestions for new beliefs to support the goal you’re looking to achieve. Once you’re relaxed, your mind is more receptive to accepting the positive and empowering new beliefs that you’re trying to adopt.
The purpose of each guided meditation is to manifest something – a specific goal or dream, and most importantly, to give you a new perspective. We’re training your brain to think in a more powerful way vs. the old habitual way that’s not serving you. While you relax and listen, my words are busy imprinting a particular message in your brain. It’s pretty cool!
For many people guided meditation is highly effective because “since it’s simpler”, you’ll use it more frequently and consistently. Other forms of meditation require you to “clear your mind” and become aware of the present moment (or some variation of this) and then… wait and see what unfolds. Most people find this challenging as it can seem frustrating and feel pointless, not to mention most of the time you won’t see results right away so can be hard to stick with it.

Each guided meditation runs between 45 and 50 minutes but don’t worry about finding time – you can absolutely listen as you’re going to sleep (yes, it’s just as powerful if you doze off).
The Affirmations For Change track is a very short meditation, best used first thing in the morning and only runs about 2 to 5 minutes depending on which title you’re listening to.
Once you’ve completed your guided meditation session and we’ve begun to remove blocks and shift negative beliefs to empowering ones, it’s time to take some simple actions. Actions For Change set you up for complete success with a list of actions you can take to quickly cement the change you came here for.
Wondering why it’s beneficial to do more than simply press play and listen to the guided meditation? In order for change to happen, your beliefs and actions need to work in harmony. By following the action steps in Actions For Change, you’re cementing the new beliefs you’ve adopted in the guided meditation track.
Before you begin your journey with MOVE, it’s helpful to remember… you have a phd in stinkin’ thinkin’– meaning you’re well-practiced in old and limiting thought patterns. You’ve been thinking the way you think for years.
Adopting a new set of beliefs takes time, so be patient with yourself… change is a gradual thing. Listen to your mediation every morning or every evening consistently for at least 30 days and don’t forget to set your intention each day, reminding yourself to focus on the new beliefs you’re adopting.
For the most powerful results, listen to the 3 to 5 minute Affirmations for Change Track every morning before you start your day and don’t underestimate the Actions for Change track. This is a simple set of steps you can take to support the new beliefs you’re choosing to adopt… you need your actions AND thinking to be in harmony for long lasting change to occur.
Yes… just because you’re not consciously aware of what you’re listening to, your brain is still recording everything, hearing everything, and taking it all in at the subconscious level.
Each meditation track has been written and recorded by me (an experienced coach and trained hypnotherapist) to create the specific change you’re looking for. As a bonus, you’re getting the Affirmations and Actions For Change tracks to support and bolster the message of each meditation.
There’s no set answer for this question!
